Propargyl Cyanoacrylate

This is a crystalline solid CA with a reactive functionality in its ester side chain. It has been described several times in the literature, most notably in studies relating to improvements in thermal properties in CA adhesives – see Synthesis and Properties of Some Alkeneyl and Alkynal-2-Cyanoacrylates, D. Kotzev et al., Die Agenwandte Makronol. Chem. 92,(1980), 41. Coupling methods and rearrangements for triple bonds are well documented in general chemical literature.
